Saburtalo is a big residential district popular with expats for cheaper accommodation. Metro connected so you can reach the center easily despite being far out. Coffee Lab started here. Local markets, everyday shops, lower prices than tourist areas. Very residential - families, students, regular daily life. Not much for tourists to do here, but it's safe and affordable. Good for longer stays or budget travelers who don't need to be in the center.

Residential area with Tbilisi's coffee scene. Good for remote workers and longer stays. Quiet at night with not much nightlife - you'll go to other areas for that. Safe and walkable, about 15 minutes from the Old Town.
Central area along Rustaveli Avenue with museums, Opera House, and the funicular to the park. Walking distance to most areas. The main avenue is busy and safe; side streets going up the hill are quieter. Steep terrain.
