Restaurants like Olive Bar & Kitchen, Miso Sexy, and Qla have made parts of Mehrauli a dining destination where you eat with views of lit-up historic monuments. English is spoken in these places. Timing matters a lot here - the shift from day to night is dramatic depending where you are. The restaurant district along Kalka Das Marg feels safe until closing with lighting and security, but village areas and Mehrauli Badarpur Road get isolated after dark. Qutub Minar metro station (Yellow Line) provides access. During the day, the Archaeological Park and historic sites are good. For evenings, stick to the restaurant zone and take Uber - don't walk after dark.
