Prague, Czechia
Steps from main attractions with good safety and constant activity. Premium prices and crowds, but convenient for first-timers.
This is postcard Prague - Astronomical Clock, Old Town Square, Charles Bridge all within 10 minutes walking. Cobblestone streets packed with tour groups during the day. You'll pay tourist prices for everything (coffee that's 50 CZK in Vinohrady runs 120 CZK here). The upside is convenience - roll out of bed and you're at the main sights. English spoken everywhere. Constant foot traffic and tourist police patrols. Pickpockets work the crowds around Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock, so keep your bag in front and phone in your front pocket. Upscale restaurants handle solo diners fine, cheaper places sometimes prefer couples for the better tables. Crowds thin after 9pm when day-trippers leave. Touristy and expensive, but safe and convenient if it's your first time.

Areas with comparable safety profiles for solo female travelers
Baroque architecture and good safety from embassy presence. Trade-offs are steep hills and high prices. Quieter than Old Town while staying central.
Good transport connections, mix of local and tourist spots. Safe during the day, avoid Wenceslas Square at night.
Modern business district with good restaurants and craft beer. Safe, normal prices, local crowd. Lacks historic architecture.
